Color Consultant Amy Woolf
Amy Woolf, who inspired our popular "Amy's Sarasota Sand" from our Designer Palette, recently shared photos of a newly finished project for a client who has spent time writing and teaching in the South of France and was looking to recreate the feeling of the colors from that part of the world. Amy wrote all about the project in her "Color aMuse Blog", but here are a few of the photos I just had to share since the colors are so similar to the ones in the palettes above. The blue in the photo below was created especially for this project but is available for anyone. Just email us, and we'll send you a sample.

("Buttercup" walls)
"A guest room done up in Ellen's Buttercup. This photo really captures the way the room glows! I have been working with Ellen's colors since 2005 and I can tell you there is nothing quite like them. The paints have a mirage-like quality in certain lighting. Regular paint looks flat on a wall. Full Spectrum Paints almost shimmer." -Amy Woolf

I couldn't resist showing the exterior of this little cottage project of Cheryl's because she created an acid-washed stucco facade with inlaid shells and stones:
