Anna
Macedo
When I first returned to Louisiana
after living in New York, I attended a metaphysical color class
given by graphic designer, artist and former LSU instructor Anna
Macedo. It was from Anna that I learned about color therapy,
and also how to use color with numerology to find out which color
vibrations our names carry (see Winter 2001 Living Well). Anna
is responsible for designing all my packaging and promotional
materials. She is widely known as an expert at using color in
all forms of advertising to enhance its effectiveness, and employs
many metaphysical principles in her award-winning designs. Anna
is the person I consult with when it comes to color. You can
now see more of Anna's work on her new website:

Lori Sawaya,
Color Consultant
Strategic
Color for Home and Business
Lori Sawaya is a provisional active
member of the International Association of Color Consultants.
During her 13 year career at GTE Directories she held positions
of Event Planner and Design and Layout Artist. As an Event Planner,
she employed color to direct and move people through a room,
and used dynamic color combinations to set the mood for an entire
event. This work directly affected the overall success of each
event. Transitioning that experience to printed media came naturally.
As a Design and Layout Artist, she refined her skills using color
as a tool to induce action and coax a desired response to printed
media. Color is truly underutilized, and Lori understands the
power of color for directing a desired response in people and
groups.
Sharing this experience and knowledge
with homeowners and businesses was Lori's next step. Businesses
can achieve more success with proper visual ergonomic planning
for employees, and effective color strategies for customer interaction.
Demystifying and streamlining the paint color selection process
for homeowners saves them time and money by cutting through the
paint chip quagmire, and reducing rework. They are amazed at
how the right color selections improve the quality of life their
home has to offer. Lori lives in Ohio and will travel to consult.
