20 years, founded Color by Design seven years ago in Camden,
Maine, and recently transferred the firm's operation to Connecticut.
Using skills learned as a certified transformational therapist,
he helps clients explore their sense of space and color perception
so that the finished product is satisfying to both. Tom specializes in full spectrum colors and bringing the outdoors indoors, creating harmonious, natural atmospheres. Tom responds intuitively so that each consulting experience is totally relative to your heart's desire. Tom travels extensively throughout the United States color consulting and also works well with architectects and designers from blueprints. Here's what Tom has to say about Full Spectrum Paints: "Full spectrum colors are as soothing as being outdoors looking at a landscape, these paints are formulated with a minimum of seven different pigments, so the retina is supplied with all the colors of light. The experience is similar to the impact of sunlight. Artists such as the Impressionists have been guided by the same principles. Surfaces painted with full spectrum colors have a luminous quality, and the colors actually feel good to people. Everything in the room works together, without having to change artwork, furniture or fabric colors in most situations,." As evidenced by the photo above, Tom's other passions are roses and orchids. |
